Our Philosophy

ELEV802 VEGAS trains hockey players at every stage of their journey — from four-year-olds lacing up for the first time to collegiate athletes and competitive players sharpening their edge. Our approach is rooted in a small-ice philosophy: real reps in tight spaces, elite stickhandling, edge work, shooting, and the tactical decision-making that separates good players from great ones.

We don’t run assembly-line clinics. Every session is built around small groups and direct coaching feedback, with coaches who know your name and your game. The standard is the same whether you’re here to make a team, stay sharp in the offseason, or fall in love with the sport from scratch.

Parents searching for youth hockey training in Las Vegas get a facility open year-round, groups capped for real feedback, and a clear path from first skates to competitive habits — without requiring a travel roster to get quality ice time.

Who We Train

All levels, all ages. If you’ve never put on skates, we’ll start you at the boards. If you’re playing AAA, juniors, college, or pro, we have coaches who’ve been there. Skill sorts itself out through drill progression — not through gatekeeping.

Private sessions max out at four players per coach for the most individualized feedback. Group sessions max out at eight per coach and emphasize small-area games, competitive reps, and battle work that translates directly to game speed.

Power skating and edge sessions sit alongside skills classes so players can build stride quality and stick skills in the same week. Browse the live class schedule or explore session packs if you train more than once a week.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book my first session?
Browse our available classes and book directly through the calendar at least 48 hours in advance. If unsure where to start, email info@elev802vegas.com and we will point you to the right program based on your age, experience, and goals.
What equipment do I need to bring?
Bring full hockey equipment: skates, stick, helmet, gloves, and protective gear. Goalies should bring their complete goalie setup.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session are eligible for a full refund or credit. Cancellations inside the 24-hour window and no-shows are not refundable. See elev802vegas.com/terms for the full Terms of Service (accepted at Wix Bookings checkout).
What skills does training focus on?
Every session focuses on edge work, stickhandling in tight spaces, shooting repeatability, and tactical decision-making under pressure, using a small-ice philosophy with high-rep game-speed reps.
How often should I train to see real improvement?
We recommend training at least twice a week for consistent development. Even once-a-week sessions produce noticeable improvement when you stay consistent.
My child has never skated. Can you still train them?
Yes. We take beginners as young as four years old and sequence training to match where each player is, starting at the boards if needed.
What's the difference between private and group training?
Private training maxes out at four players per coach for the most individualized feedback. Group training maxes out at eight per coach and emphasizes small-area games, competitive reps, and battle work.
Do you train adult players?
Yes. Adult leaguers, returning players, and complete beginners all train at ELEV802 VEGAS. Hockey has no age ceiling — and neither does our coaching.
Are your coaches qualified?
Every ELEV802 VEGAS coach is vetted for on-ice experience, coaching credentials, and the ability to communicate with players at different levels. The team includes coaches who have competed at the junior, college, and pro level.
Can I rent ice time?
Yes. Email info@elev802vegas.com for ice rental availability and details.
Do you offer power skating in Las Vegas?
Yes. Power skating and edge-focused sessions are part of the weekly class schedule. You can also book private lessons that emphasize stride, edges, and speed control with a coach who fits your level.
Is this good for youth travel and house players?
Yes. We train house, travel, and competitive youth players. Sessions are labeled by age and skill so first-timers and advanced skaters are not thrown into the same progressions.
