ELEV802 VEGAS trains hockey players at every stage of their journey — from four-year-olds lacing up for the first time to collegiate athletes and working pros sharpening their edge. Our approach is rooted in a small-ice philosophy: real reps in tight spaces, elite stickhandling, edge work, shooting, and the tactical decision-making that separates good players from great ones.
We don’t run assembly-line clinics. Every session is built around small groups and direct coaching feedback, with coaches who know your name and your game. Whether you’re here to make a team, stay sharp in the offseason, or fall in love with the sport from scratch, the standard is the same: elite development, built on work ethic — not privilege or zip code.
Our private on-ice training runs at a maximum ratio of four players per coach, so every skater gets direct, hands-on feedback every session. Book a 1-on-1 for full individualized attention, or train in a small-group private with up to three teammates for tighter competitive reps alongside players you already know.
Group sessions max out at eight players per coach. Small enough to preserve coaching quality, structured around small-area games and high-rep drills — the kind of training that translates directly to game speed and game-like decision-making. Expect battle reps, quick transitions, and the tight-space problem-solving that modern hockey rewards.
All levels, all ages. If you’ve never put on skates, we’ll start you at the boards. If you’re playing AAA, juniors, college, or pro, we have coaches who’ve been there. Skill sorts itself out through drill progression — not through gatekeeping.
Browse our available classes, pick one that fits your level and schedule, and book directly through the calendar. Book at least 48 hours in advance to secure your preferred time slot. If you’re unsure where to start, email us at info@elev802vegas.com or use the Contact form and we’ll point you to the right program based on your age, experience, and goals.
Bring full hockey equipment: skates, stick, helmet, gloves, and protective gear. Goalies should bring their complete goalie setup. Your coach may provide a detailed list for specific sessions — reach out before your first session if you’re unsure.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session are eligible for a refund. Cancellations inside the 24-hour window are not refundable. If you need to reschedule, contact us as early as possible at info@elev802vegas.com.
Every session is built around the fundamentals that drive modern hockey: edge work, stickhandling in tight spaces, shooting repeatability, and tactical decision-making under pressure. Our small-ice philosophy prioritizes high-rep, game-speed reps over long line drills — because that’s how skills actually transfer from practice to the game.
We recommend training at least twice a week for consistent development. Even once-a-week sessions produce noticeable improvement when you stay consistent — the key is showing up and applying what you work on between sessions.
Yes. We take beginners as young as four years old. We’ll start at the boards if we need to. Our coaches are experienced with players at every stage — from a first wobble on the ice to collegiate-level skating — and we sequence training to match where each player is, not where the rest of the group is.
Private training maxes out at four players per coach and gives you the most individualized feedback — ideal for working on specific weaknesses, preparing for tryouts, or dialing in a technique under a coach’s eye. Group training maxes out at eight per coach and emphasizes small-area games, competitive reps, and battle work you can’t replicate alone. Most developing players benefit from a mix of both.
Yes. Adult leaguers, returning players who stepped away for a decade, and beginners discovering the sport for the first time all train at ELEV802 VEGAS. Hockey doesn’t have an age ceiling — and neither does our coaching.
Every ELEV802 VEGAS coach is vetted for on-ice experience, coaching credentials, and the ability to communicate with players at different levels. The team includes coaches who’ve competed at the junior, college, and pro level — the same people who stay late to re-explain a drill until it lands.
